Freiman §14: section14 endpoint transfer

Proved
Freiman.section14_endpoint_transfer

by tp · Sep 9, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

finite-certificatesfreimanhall-raysection14

Transfer the finite endpoint alternatives to the actual continued-fraction endpoint rules using the continuant determinant difference formula. The odd-left case uses the increasing local coordinate -t and swaps lower/upper endpoints; a virtual digit only defines an endpoint. This contains no finite sign search, which is supplied by the validated catalogue.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
